Re Collection: Concept, Design & Vision
The Re collection explores the challenges of modern society, shaped by constant acceleration, sensory overload, and digitalization. Inspired by philosophical ideas, the concept focuses on the growing disconnection between humans and their physical environment.
The idea behind the collection
Re promotes a conscious “rediscovery” of sensory perception. The collection aims to reconnect individuals with their surroundings through a design language that goes beyond visuals. Each piece is created to be experienced on multiple levels—seen, felt, heard, and even smelled.
Multisensory design approach
The collection consists of six outfits with a total of 17 garments. Each outfit is dedicated to one of the five human senses—sight, sound, touch, smell, and taste—as well as the neural system that connects them.
Organic and fluid silhouettes reflect the aesthetics of sensory organs through shapes, colors, and textures.
Different sensory elements are integrated into the designs, including:
- Sound-inspired details and textures
- Sontrasts between natural and overstimulating colors
- Subtle scent enhancements, such as lavender
Materials, technology & craftsmanship
A key aspect of Re is the combination of traditional knitwear craftsmanship with advanced technology. The designs are developed using modern knitting machines and specialized software, allowing for a wide range of structures—from bold 3D surfaces to delicate textures.
The collection also emphasizes sustainability through the use of certified materials and mostly mono-material fabrics.
In addition, experimental processes play an important role. Custom yarns, innovative dyeing techniques, and scent finishes using microencapsulation are developed to enhance the sensory experience of the garments.
Vision and message
Re is more than a fashion collection—it is an invitation to slow down and engage with the senses more consciously. Through its aesthetic and sensory qualities, each outfit tells a story of awareness and reflection in a fast-paced world.
